Don’t miss PHL17 Morning News anchor Nick Foley’s Tasty Talk on Wed, Oct 30.

On Wednesday, October 30th at 12:30pm, the host of Tasty Talks, Realtor Michelle Leonard, will introduce an ever-growing audience of local celebrities and loyal fans to PHL17 Morning News anchor Nick Foley. The charming reporter and news anchor was introduced to Philadelphia in October of 2018, after four years as weekend anchor and reporter for Good Morning Cleveland.

Since earning his degree in Communications & Political Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2004, Nick’s career has been non-stop. As weekend Sports Anchor & Reporter at WPEC in West Palm Beach, FL, Nick wrote and produced segments for the evening newscasts, and reported live from sporting events. Four year later, Nick became Sports Director at WTAJ in Altoona, PA, where he also wrote and produced the Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers specials. Fast forward to 2012 and Baton Rouge, where Nick is researching, editing and reporting stories for WAFB while cultivating vital community relationships. Then in 2014, WEWS of Cleveland came calling.

Nick now calls South Philly home. He’s happy to be back in the Northeast, closer to his retired father in New England and family in Washington DC. Born on Edwards Air Force Base in California, Nick grew up on military bases, and lived seven years in Germany. In his spare time, Nick loves to play golf, travel and spend time with his girlfriend Lisa and their baby girl, Lilijana.

October’s Tasty Talk will support the Foundation Fighting Blindness.

For his Tasty Talk charity, Nick has chosen the Foundation Fighting Blindness, the world’s leading private funder of research to prevent, treat and cure retinal diseases, which affect more than ten million Americans – and millions more worldwide. Each year, it funds more than 100 cutting-edge research projects in such promising areas as genetics, nutrition, and gene and stem-cell therapies, often providing the critical bridge between research, proof of concept, and corporate investment in clinical trials.

Reserve now by phone, or via PayPal on our website.

Nick Foley is sure to pack the house, so get your tickets now for Wednesday, October 30th.
