Native Philadelphian Pat Ciarrocchi, the first female inducted into the Pennsylvania Broadcasters Hall of Fame, has been a local TV news anchor longer than any other woman.
A graduate of Padua Academy and Rosemont College, Pat began her broadcasting career in 1974 at WAMS Radio in Wilmington, then became a reporter for WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, MD. She joined CBS3 Eyewitness News in 1982, where she served as morning and noon co-anchor for nearly two decades. In 2001, she was promoted to co-anchor of CBS3’s Evening Magazine. Along with countless Philadelphia fans, she considers her reporting on Pope Francis’s 36 hours in Philadelphia to be the culmination of her distinguished career. After 33 years at CBS3, Pat Ciarrocchi retired in 2015 to pursue her passion of pet advocacy.
Pat has selected Gaudenzia as the beneficiary of her Tasty Talk.
A leader in addiction treatment since 1968, Gaudenzia annually serves over 17,000 individuals and families in PA, MD, DE, and D.C. affected by drug and alcohol dependency, mental illness and related conditions.
