Steve Morrison of WMMR’s “Preston & Steve” Show will give Yangming’s Tasty Talk on January 31.

The top-rated Preston and Steve morning radio show, featuring Preston Elliot and Steve Morrison, first aired on 93.3 WMMR in May, 2005. The comedy and variety show features telephone interviews, in-studio guests, celebrity impersonations, unusual news stories, and running gags. Airing weekdays from 6 to 10:30am, the show has led morning radio ratings since Howard Stern left Philadelphia for Sirius Satellite radio. The show is also streamed live on the WMMR website and is a featured podcast on iTunes.

The show actually originated seven years earlier on Y100 Philadelphia with Preston and Marilyn Russell (yup, our first Tasty Talk speaker!), both formerly of the now defunct WDRE Philadelphia. Several months later, native New Yorker Steve Morrison of WDRE New York joined the cast.

Don’t miss Steve’s lunch time Tasty Talk on Wednesday, January 31 at Yangming. January’s Tasty Talk will benefit “The Mac Fund at the Cat Shack,” a non-profit organization started by Steve’s wife Clare in memory of their beloved cat “Mac.” Donations to the Mac Fund support the spaying and neutering of stray cats to reduce overpopulation, with the goal of assuring a good home for every kitten.

Hors d’ oeuvres service begins at 12:30, followed by Steve, Q&A, and a wonderful communal lunch. Just $20 ($25 at the door, if seats available) covers lunch, dessert, tax and tip.
